He has been in the job all of about 10-11 days mate, and all that during a major international tournament, he's probably met no more than half a doxen of the players so far, what honestly do you expect?

By all accounts we have made contact/enquiries at the very least on several players, or would you rather he rushed into buying players just for the sake of keeping an element of the supporters happy?

If by the start of the pre season games we still have bought no one then maybe you can complain without sounding like a big panicky wet fish girls blouse

Was he the real deal?

Not sure. He did seem to have stuff that we had heard already, well, Esk had, but the timings/locations etc were erratic.

I'd be much more concerned if we'd signed 3-4 players already than suigning no one right now, if we'd been signing players then we'd have almost certainly been just going off players he'd had in mind for the Saints, and hopefully we are fishing from a bigger lake than he was planning to with them

With us needing two keepers according to the new boss, then one of those seems likely to arrive soonish i'd guess, the other got the feeling stuffs been going on with Strootman on the quiet - not one shred of evidence on that ofc, just a hunch

We lost a lot of staff when Martinez left, theres the coaching staff and things behind the scenes to be worked out and Koemans prolly koffed on holiday again, you know how much he loves his holidays!!

Anyway, think pre-season training starts next week and I think thats when the real work will start, I personally think we will get a few people in very shortly, if we havent signed 3 players in the next fortnight I will be shocked, shocked, that is, not worried.

Esk has today said we're close on two signings, and trust me this summer will be full of nothing but good times for us blues - including the reveal of our stadium plans.

Any name? Who are the 2...makes me wonder mate.

Theres probably been more upheaval and an upheaval that will be continuing through the season and next more than likely throughout the club than i ever imagined there would be, DoF, board changes, commercial changes, stuff with the ground, manager change and nearly a complete change of coaching staff etc

Anyone not giving him time to see whats what and then go for his targets is daft really.

Do i expect us to sign a few new faces in the next week or two - definately, but if we don't then i'm pretty certain it's because we are working on getting the players in that koeman wants rather than seond or thrid choices to seem liek we are being busy.

Just my opinion but think we will see a few players arrive who are just too good a deal to pass up on (in Koemans estimation obviously) but the much talked about statement signing i think won't happen until after pre season has got well under way and the boss has had a good luck at exactly whats what with the squad
