level of delusion on here is laughable, fact is we are no better off than before because everyone has the same money as us, we cant take players from other clubs because simply put we dont have the pull and no one has to sell any more, hence the links to second rate rubbish like Mandanda. if we really had any clout we would be tapping up Butland or Forster and leaving Mandanda to Southampton or Stoke. nothing has changed.

Despite the fact we have just took a manager off one of those clubs - errmr sure mate

as for the level of delusion, yes ofc everyone has the same money as everyone else and no premiership team will be able to take a player off another prem team at all this season - depsite the evidence already to the contrary

bet you have seen Mandanda at the very most a couple of times btw

Its probably best to wait until the window is closed and judge how he we have done. you are wasting all that scorn and derision on nothing I fear. you can hit your fellow fans later if you prove to be right. Ok?

Isn't Mandanda already in his mid30's? It makes no sense to me, that we sign a Goalkeeper as a Substitute for Howard that is only a few years younger than him and will be retired in a few years too. I would go for someone who is between 26 and 30. Maybe Forster or Wojciech Szczesny.

Keepers last for donkeys and get better with age.
31/32 is perfect and on a free it's a No-brainer. Especially as he is bloody fantastic.

Nah mate, he will gloat about it now, dunno why some fans like to gloat about having ambition but they do, then if we actually do make some great moves this window he will start bleating about something else

Honestly haven't seen him - at least don't remember if i did (which is probably a good thing not remembering a keeper), but if he is a clear step up on howard and what we have had since Martyn then i honestly don't care that he isn't some FoM sexy german, we aren't gonna build the team this summer that will stay the same for the next 3-4 years anyway, so a solid keeper for a couple of seasons and then we look at getting that really top notch one in will do fine
