Just wondering ... I'm reading about players been linked and it's great to hear the names or at least some of them been mentioned but my fear is what about the likes of a Tom Davies / Kieran Dowell / John joe Kenny etc etc... Are these players sent out on loan or are they involved in the first team squad ?also the new Swiss international we bought ... No one seems to be mentioning him ... I can see Kone going / McGeady / Oviedo possibly ... We do have a big squad number wise ... Just hope that the good work that has gone into developing the youth set up doesn't get overlooked

Same Barkley who gives ball away every game? No Geri is our best player technically wise, it is up to him to kick on though and improve or I am afraid we will have to get rid, he has the talent just needs to sort game out.

Tom Davis and Dowell and Kenny looked decent through under 21s and Norwich problem is Koeman does not like youth unless he has really no money

He had Ward Prowse who is very good and got no chance, Koeman wants results we are not a training camp sad to say he will not really give youth a real chance a lot so they have to grab it with both hands



We need a manager to get us wins not mess around koeman will be here 3 years max

Ward Prowse played 39 games for Southampton last season

Ward-Prowse played 33 out of 38 league games for them this season and 25 league games the year before despite a long injury layoff. If that's not giving someone a chance then i'd like to know what is

No he never he was mainly used as a sub
1534 mins = 17 games nearly

19 sub appearances with few mins to go at end throwing him in mid to run around doesn't really count

So a young lad has basically been on the pitch for almost 50% of the time of all Southampton's league matches last year and you think he wasn't given a chance?

Has JWP suffered 2 massive injuries that have put him behind in his developmental at his "footballing age"?

Barkley - Double leg break (16?) as he starts his rise. Prior to what should be his break out season(20?) a bad knee injury

People forget roscoe has suffered big injuries, you could argue he's behind in his development.

JWP is far behind Barkley too, different levels
