And we 100% dunno what you're all chatting we only have 3 senior with 1 likely to be sold and another nearly 35. If we want to have tactical flexibility to play 3 at the back some games (against your Watford's and Leicester's) we need I'd say 2x more senior CB's to complement current + Browning & Galloway. Jags needs replacing this summer to transition.

not this summer no. He can still be a key backup option for a good few years yet at worst imo. I think he'll be starting the season though, mori and stones wouldn't be the worst option to start, but i would like an experienced centre back to go with him because all of our other options are young.

Moshiri got Koeman who was his first choice. He gets what he wants. We're rich enough for that now. If we miss out on someone it's because we were never in for them in the first place, or because we have better options available.

I think our main centre backs this season will be Mori and whoever replaces Stones. Jags and the youth as backup.

I like what I've heard about Mandanda, but have we considered that Crystal Palace guaranteed him the No.1 spot and that maybe Koeman wasn't willing to make that promise?
