You can't genuinely suss out if a player is any good from these tournaments. If you'd never heard of Ronaldo, you'd probably want to swerve him if we were linked based on tonight.

The same could be said for Kane, Lewandowski (early goal excluded) and even Messi if you include the Copa America.

Scouting at international tournaments is pointless unless you are looking for someone who can play under pressure.
