I'd take some Southampton players on the basis that many are playing below the level they actually are. Like I said these teams have exceptions. Southampton have more than other teams.

See mate we could still sign Mandana. The fact Palace just got him on a free probably means i don't want the club to then spend money to prise him out of that contract when he was free yesterday. Other than that, if palace want to release him again and send him our way then it isn't the worst signing

Personally, i want a keeper for 10 years. No idea who, just one that we can sign, stick in goal and not have to worry about replacing them for 10 years ala Howard. Doesn't matter if they aren't world class already as long as they save more than they let in. What i would love to get in is a cudicini type, shot stopper, someone who can pull a save out of nothing like howard in his prime or, well, cudicini.

We didn't struggle taking their manager. I doubt we will struggle to take their players. Same for Stoke and Palace.

To be fair, out of the midfielders I've been linked with I'd want them in this order; Schneiderlin - Kovacic - Strootman - Witsel.

Morgan is proven in the league and boss, Kovacic untested but top pedigree, Strootman class but injury prone so big risk, and Witsel totally untested in a top league but has looked decent.
