From your previous postings it seems our summer most likely will be summed up with Witsel, Mata and Begovic. Sound about right?

In an ideal world we sign Witsel and another CDM as our starting pair and have McCarthy and Barry/Besic and 3 good squad players/back up's with Cleverly out the door for £10-12 million to be reinvested in the squad.

McCarthy an Cleverley can both go as far as I'm concerned. I'd have Tom Davies ahead of both.

So we could have:

Ross, Witsel, Besic, Gibson, Davies, and Barry (still think he'll have a very limited role)

@The Esk you mention Mata but he'll probably be more of left sided midfield player rather than midfield am I right?

Midfielders we have are:
Ross, McCarthy, Barry, Besic, Gibson, Cleverley and maybe two youth members given playing time.

By signing Witsel we're probably getting I'd of two of the senior squad members.

I'd imagine Gibson and Clev, but with Gibson's new deal I'm not sure that'll happen. Unless the new deal was just to up the asking price

He was promising mate I can tell you that. He would have moved to a top 10 club this side of the border if he was signed up back then.
