Mata would be an incredible signing for us. I don't expect the transfer fee to be a problem but the question is whether we can convince him to join. I'm sure he will attract plenty of interest from other premier league clubs and from Spain.

Mata would raise our profile considerably, has about 5x the followers on Twitter than the official EFC page, would get a lot more people interested in our club. Not entirely sold on Witsel after Niasse and McGeady but with my first season ticket in about 8 years not too assed, exciting times ahead!
