I don't think he'd play Byrom anyway, hasn't Byrom been playing centre midfield most of this season.

It's an absolute certainty Stones will play there with Lennon possibly also given a chance against Dagenham and weaker premier teams.

I know it's a dreadful article but there could be something in the offer for Stephan El Shaarawy.

He's a player Bobby has been linked with a few times in the past and he seems to be happy to wait for the right time to make his move.

A loan option would definitely be that 'right' time imo.

Don't know who, but a right back and a striker are absolute must buys.

*sigh

How far off is Kenny from being able to come in for Coleman though mate?

Totally agree we need another striker - there's absolutely no way Rom is going to be able to keep playing every minute of every game especially with us having the run in the LC and hopefully an extended run in the FA as well

No idea about Kenny mate. Quite highly rated though isn't he?

As he's not been anywhere near the first team I doubt he'll be used though. I dread Stones being moved over there.

Was on loan to Wigan until the end of September mate and played well according to the reports, my view on him is from the England under 17's when he looked along with Roberts the two best players for them by a mile. Rather see him given a shot than another reshuffle in the centre and playing Stones in a position that doesn't suit him.

As we saw with Galloway the younger players can sometimes seriously surprise you when they are given a shot of confidence and trusted and Kenny for me anyway looked the pick of the young lads at that age level - with Baines back the other side - then we can maybe take a bit of a risk with a young player coming in now - especially as with Deulofeu on that side it's unlikely he will be able to get double teamed the way Galloway was at times

Why moving Stones to right back is that bad idea? Think we'd benefit from being more solid at the back this month. And with the way Coleman is playing this year (cutting inside, isolating Deulofeu out wide) Stones with his composure and ability on the ball would fit right in.

Maybe because the one area of the field you want to change as little as possible is the centre backs so they can form an understanding together, and just as it seems he is doing so with Mori changing it all around again seems a bit ... well... daft
