Had about a 15min slot. Spoke about pogba 80% of the time and the rest of the time about higuain going to juve. Nothing on our supposed targets. That is because a) there is nothing to report or most likely b) they couldn't care less about us. I'm sure point B will change on the not too distant future.

He's just on again now (Tancredi Palmeri) talking about possible Pogba replacements and said unlikely it would be Witsel as he is close to Everton. Also tweeted something about no one else matching our offer. Guess we're not Witsel's preference but no other club willing to match our offer. I'd swerve in that case, don't want to wait for someone who doesn't really want to comes down end up somewhere else on deadline day whilst we miss out completely.
 
The one I mentioned is actually Kamil Grosicki from Rennes. There were some issues with agents but we met him personally couple days ago.

I don't really know whether he will sign a contract, but I know for a fact our interest is strong.

@The Esk - have you heard something about this by the way?

I don't think he'd set the Premier League on fire. He's decent, but don't think he's any better than Lennon. Really don't know what Koeman sees in him, but he wanted him at Saints so he must rate him.
 

Question for esk...

Do you think we will be surprised by any signings we are looking to conclude, or are the targets pretty much the same as what has been spoken about here?

can play both wings and hes very very fast i guess mate, utility player?

Deffo. It makes sense if Koeman want to play Deulofeu as a striker - we'd need some more options on the wings. Didn't he sign Eliero Elia at Saints? If he does then Grosicki is the same type of player.

Decent question, I have a feeling we have a big surprise up our sleeves but it will be near the end of the window
