When have we made our major signings in the past? When are most major signings made (ok I don't have stats on that, just a feeling and random collection of memories). Just see what our squad shapes up to be in September. As for the falling head syndrome I'd suggest a neck brace.

Lukaku was in late July right? Funes Mori in August, McCarthy on Deadline Day(Though that was dependent on Fellaini), Deulofeu was July.

I think things were easier knowing Lukaku and Deulofeu wanted to be here so negotiations probably went quicker.

I wouldn't mind if we had juicy press talk to feed off but we don't even get much of that.

A lot of fans on here have convinced themselves that loads of new players are getting signed without any substantial news whatsoever.

Think people on this site need a sharp dose of reality really, we are starting our campaign soon and have no additions and stones is leaving

We need 5/6 players, how long before people start to worry, the is blues on here that will be like ' give him time or get behind the club' even if we was in league 2 or had nobody signed by deadline day

At this moment people banging on about there being no signings is playing on fans fears, but there has been zero reason for fans to believe this. Just like there has been no real evidence to say that Stones is definitely leaving(i think he will) but people take everything with Everton far too seriously. And read into the smallest scraps of info and over analyse it.
My advice is to relax. Just wait and see come the first game of the season think we'll be pleasantly surprised.
