Well, based on his track record at Leicester, and his MO of selecting players to fit a system, rather than the big names, I would give him a bit more slack myself.

For all we know, he had this lad fingered as a replacement for a Leicester player.

He played for a dog awful villa side, playing in midfield with dog turd players. Whats to say bringing him in with better players won't make him a better player? As somebody mentioned his stats last season are impressive, 2nd only to Kante on interceptions? Can't be that bad, 7.2m isn't a lot of money for a squad filler
