Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Got to say, all those lambasting the pessimists and asking for evidence of why nothing has changed; where is YOUR evidence to the contrary?

Note: some random administrator on a forum, with no connection to the club, making all kinds of outlandish claims does not constitute evidence.

The silence from the club with regards to any kind of potential transfers is deafening. That is undeniable.
Silence cannot deafen you. Loud noise can. That is undeniable.

What, you think the club should provide daily updates on where we are with deals?
No, I just expect a club with a £100 million 'warchest' and intentions of spending big on players to have made some progress on that with just over two weeks to go until the start of the season.

I think it's becoming increasingly clear that we've all been led up the garden path by certain people associated with this forum. A forum whose business model, I presume, is to increase advertising revenue by attracting more visitors.

I think we can be extremely happy that we have Koeman and now Walsh too. Great captures both.

Signings are soon starting to pour in. Have a little bit of patience and you will be awarded.
Pick that head of yours from the ground and glue it back on yer shoulders again.
I would imagine 95% of us didnt know who Steve Walsh was a couple of weeks ago.
Its classic early "Moshiri must know what he is doing by getting him in"

if this was next season after a dismal first season under Moshiri, we would all be saying, Walsh ? WTF

not saying he wont be good or bad, just saying

In what world would the club give updates on every single bit of transfers news? The club said at the start of window that they wouldn't comment on deals until they were confirmed and so they shouldn't.

Everton isn't a great prospect for most world class players right now! The team is a shambles and needs to be rebuilt - this will take time. Even when Man City got investment they spent a season or two buying players like Roque Santa Cruz and Lescott.

Lets all stop moaning and claiming Moshiri is a fraud every time we don't sign a player we are linked with. Instead, use the forum for more positive discussion about the blues...who knows, maybe it will translate into a positive season.

Not really.

He was widely acclaimed as the man behind Leicesters League winning side last season.

Ferguson labelled him the most influential person in the division last season.

I think you need to lay off the conspiracy theories. As far as I'm aware the plethora of Belgian, Russia and Italian journos who have been providing updates on the Witsel signing (for example) aren't members of this forum...

BTW mate the journo reporting that is Gianluca Di Marzio - man who did a huge amount of the Napoli and Witsel stories and othe ritalian clubs etc

Interesting fact i just noticed, his dad Was Napoli manager from 69-71, so not exactly unbiased

I also heard he was involved in the 9/11 coverup; it goes deeper than Everton.....much deeper
