The funny thing is I felt like this about many of our players last season, at times our lot looked like a bunch of headless chickens that couldn't pass.

Before he came to Villa he did well for Lille, by many accounts he was Villa's best player from what I hear. Yes they got relegated but that doesn't mean he is cr#p. Roy Keane was signed by United from a relegated Forest side.
