Thought Shelvey was finally getting his act together over the summer with the private chef and conditioning coach, it has always seemed to be more an issue with his attitude/application than his skill because he can show flashes of the latter.

But the whole turmoil within the club seems to have made him lose focus, he probably needs a move but wouldn't take him here.

Am I the only one who thinks Ronaldinho would be a great addition? I know, quite frankly, he's a hollow shell of what he once was (he's not arsed anymore, basically) but the impact he'd have in the dressing room - just imagine all of our youngsters and even some of our experienced players being around and getting advice from one of the greatest footballers of all time. Granted we didn't really get loads out of Eto'o but he stayed for 6 months and left.

He'd never be a first-team regular in the league though, he'd get his arse kicked with his age and fitness levels. Would play him in the small cup matches and friendlies.

Btw this is my honest opinion. Didn't pluck his name from Fifa nor am I on the dankest weed available.
