I was brought up in the Catterick days when we signed young talent like Bally and Kendall for peanuts.
If Walsh is there for a reason then he should be earning his money not just signing guys like Mata for short term pleasure of some fans

Unfortunately footy has changed, and matador is 28 in the prime of his career. Not exactly short term considering he's never been known for his pace and more for the fact that he can pass a ball through a pin hole.

Walsh hasn't just been.brought in to source youngsters, think there's a bit more to his job role than that.

Would he be our most talented player? Debatable.
Would he help us win and instil a winning atmosphere? Yes.
Is he an absolutely amazing human being? YES.

Koeman n walsh targeting 28-32 year olds to help the young players we already have.
Even the 'you cant win anything with kids' team had scheichel, irwin, bruce, pallister, keane and cantona all in key positions
