Not kidding, but if City offered 40m plus Bony Everton should get that damn deal done as quickly as humanly possible. Bony, in the current climate, is easily a 30m player. Jordan Ibe cost 15m, let's not forget. We'd essentially be getting 70m for John Stones. I sincerely hope that is the offer that is forthcoming. Even 30m plus Bony should be done, but confident they'd offer closer to 40m as they're desperate to get rid and desperately want Stones.

40m buys us Williams and a top quality central midfielder. To complete the squad and have us, on paper at least, looking as strong as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs, all Mr Moshiri would need to do is fund us like 20/30m for another two players (keeper, possibly cover at right back or a promising young cb).

That would represent a - if you'll excuse the use of the word - phenomenal transfer window.

got to admit I'm shocked that I've been away for a week and we've only signed a midfielder.

Not panicking but disappointed and I don't think anyone can tell anyone to calm down tbh if they are crapping in their underpants because it doesn't exactly breed confidence does it?
