Cant see us stumping up £3m for this lad when he's out of

That fee is probably heavily based on appearances and such like, he's out of contract in a few months there's no way we'd pay that up front for him.

We will stump up £3m because we will end up paying more if it went to a tribunal, which it would have done if we signed him for a 'free' in the Summer.

I live in Leeds and can fairly say all their fans love Byram, pretty sure he can play RM too so could be a better back up option than what we have there currently.

£3 million is a steal regardless of contract status, would be a great piece of business.

Why would he end up being more than £3m?

The current record for a tribunal fee is about £6m for Sturridge who was very highly thought of and a forward. Defenders are notoriously cheaper than forwards and he's not got any top flight or international experience like Sturridge had.

The £3m will be heavily laden with performance related clauses in our favour seeing as they want to get a deal done now and we're not desperate.

Naismith will be off shortly for 8-10m, Byram coming in for 3-5m? the swizz lad for 3m, Foulds as well, McGeady and Gibson loaned out soon, then the big two Mirallas off and Yarmolenko in and i reckon a sneaky big loan from abroad completely under the radar, gonna be the busiest window we ever had lol

Would be some window if all that happens, but with 3 inbound and 1 first team this has already started as a very busy January

@everton Announce yarmolenko FFS, give the people what they want

Would melt the GOT servers that
