I assume you are using "you" as the impersonal collective term because if I lost this bet I would be gone, and I would be happy to be gone as it meant that Ebebtoh would be flying again with another shiny 7th place trophy.

Had we signed a top keeper, Koulibaly, Witsel and Mata I would have said top 6 easy, with Williams, Bolasie, Bony, Kone, Gueye and Stekelenberg in and Stones and Lukaku out I would be surprised to make top half.

Make it top 6 and you've got your bet.

While I'm pretty underwhelmed with our transferwindow so far, like most of us, I have trust in Koeman to make the players better individually and increase the impact. Aswell as sort out the giving up leads late in the game. These games like West Ham at home were huge spirit-breakers.

Can't get my hand around how some posters here compare stats from last season, to "evaluate" a player's ability. Everybody is a product of the environment and if Koeman can increase a great atmosphere within the club, everybody will benefit and function differently. Here's to hooing at least
