If we can get Byram in tomorrow for £3m (which I think is a bargain considering how much football he's already played and the fact he's English), that would be great business giving Coleman some real competition and also having another option for a defensive RM if we need to close out games.
With our squad the size it is now, McGeady and Gibson being shipped out is essential - they must be on the best part of £75k p/w combined?
I think we'll keep Pienaar until the end of the season and release him which will free up another stack of wages. He's proved useful again these past couple of games but I can't see that lasting another season.
I'd be surprised if we sell Naismith and loan out McGeady, and don't bring any forwards in. Whether it's Yarmolenko (we can dream) or someone we haven't even been linked to yet, it would be a huge boost to add more quality up top.
