He's injured i think, back to light training next week if what i'v read is correct

Think thats correct. Picked up a knock in their last league game in December, was on a personalised, low impact fitness thing, but is stepping up activity.

Might be an issue with any medical though, which are high impact sessions.

What I was told anyrate.

The ball will start rolling with Yarmolenko (if there is any ball, mind) when Naismith goes. Got to get that done asap and if I remember correctly, Martinez said at the start of Jan that he wanted to keep Naismith for the chunk of games and now we've came out of that and he hasn't played at all, he must be a gonna.

Going to be an interesting week.

Wednesday have got money but can't see them stumping up £4mil for McGeady, especially since he's available on loan (or so we're told).

Fanatic business by Everton if the prices involved are to be believed. He'll imagine selling two players who don't make the squad and actually buying a quality player in return?

Not necessarily yarms but someone better than McNealy!

I've got a mate who is a big Sheffield Wednesday fan who reckons the new Thai consortium are going to go for it big time to get into the PL. He reckons they are going to really go for it in this window and the summers window to get the players in to get them promoted next season. He hasn't heard anything about Mcgeady mind but they do have the money apparently and the ambition to try and pull it off.

I'd love Yarms but I don't think he's exactly what we need.

We need someone who keeps things going in the final third, someone who'll win fouls and beat his man and thread through balls for Rom, someone to play wide but not hit the byline per say. A 2010 Pienaar.

Step forward Oliver Torres.

You've just described Yarmolenko, who seems to do both. Loves to cut in and shoot or play passes.

Money and ambition is great. Hopefully they don't know much about football and might just go for mcgeady !

Nah they're completely different types mate.

It depends how Martinez wants to go.

A) A powerful player on the left flank who would get up to support Rom - e.g. Yarmolenko (seems to be the way he wants to go with Kone having played there so much - Kev also did this well yesterday)
B) A Pienaar-esque link-up player (think Cleverley will be used in this role a lot)
