Everton Transfer Thread 2016

As things stand we have sold stones to buy bolasie and Williams.

New billionaire owner and massive Sky tv money yet we are still only break even ish.. Madness!

Were about to probably break net spend and transfer record on Sissoko. Not even the half decent one liverpool had.

What are the chances we go back in for him? Any news in norwegian media, mate?
It's difficult to say. Last year Vålerenga would have jumped at the offer because of financial troubles. But since then Vålerengas rich uncle have come back in with money, so they're not desperate. The sums mentioned in Norwegian media is about the maximum I would expect for him, so I don't realy understand why they turned the offer down in the first place. I don't rate him any higher than the 2 million pounds rising to 4mill with bonuses that is refered to in norwegian media.

Just been reading a thing about fans from lots of different clubs on who they think the signings of the summer are.

Ashley Williams and Idrissa Gueye featuring a hell of a lot.

It's not all bad.

They probably are the two best bits of business in the summer. But in reality we should be taking these opportunities where we've spent £7m & £10m on first team players to lump £40m-£70m on two more top quality players. There you've got 4 top lads in for an average of £22m a player.

Agree with the model, but only half of it has happened so far.

Sissoko at £6m a season wouldn't be the worst but £30m is a lot of money.

I think we will get that reduced but we need some strength in the middle.

Carvalho was the 1st choice obviously but Sissoko isn't a bad 2nd
