We should have been in for him. Chance a year long loan with the possibility of the string pulling he could have given us. Sometimes seasons are made or broken on such decisions.

Sissoko is overpriced, though when Jeff Hendrick is a £10 million pound player then perhaps he isn't that overpriced.

I do like the idea of a midfield of him, Barkley and Gueye though.

Quite. Villa paid Bristol City £14m for an ok striker this week.

Ignore the price, judge the player. Have my doubts, if I am honest, but delighted to be proven wrong.
