It's annoying to be pipped by Spurs, but just curious, where exactly were people expecting Sissoko to slot in? Who was losing their place in midfield for him?

The main worry for me is how badly light upfront we are, Rom gets injured and we are in big trouble!

Sissoko has played us not Spurs

Newcastle were never going to accept less than £30m.

Spurs left it late to prevent us getting someone else in, they are experienced operators in the transfer market and we clearly are not.

They're not geniuses, setting up deals to fail in just the right way. They've mismanaged themselves into a corner, with nowhere to go. Very, very poor.

Actually agee with this. From the Niasse fiasco to the smoke and mirrors of this summer something is deeply rotten inside the club and Moshiri arriving hasn't sorted it out.
