Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Martinez history in management before he came here was over achieving with poor teams, it was a success for him to finish out side the bottom 3, we brought him here expecting him to crack on and lead our team to the top, we took a bit of a risk with him and it's failed, he has had a decent amount of time, but he's not really improving as a manager or Improving our team, no disrespect to Wigan but that was his level. Really what were we thinking getting a manager who had just been relegated.
All down to our ambitious board, Moyes before him they both come from small clubs. To manage One of England's biggest , they double/treble their salary and are under no real pressure. And are quite happy to except the terms of a limited budget.

Let's be honest which Wigan or Preston manager is turning that down

Is the potential takeover stopping us buying anyone I no we went for Potential for the first team in years to come. We need a quality 10 payet would of been great for us and a left winger sell Lennon

As for Bobby I don't think he should get the sack my own personal opinion. The manager and team should look at them selfs not just Bobby

Season might be over in two days. We definitely wont get Yermarlenko. We wont be getting a new keeper. We wont be getting any exciting additions. Season id pretty much ruined.

I didn't know McCarthy is fit. I was suggesting a replacement to partner Barry. Someone mentioned it on here that Besic is now likely to be out for the rest of the season. We have a chance with a CM pairing of Barry and McCarthy or Besic if he got fit, I don't think we will win the League Cup with any other CM partnership.

I think the plan would have been to bring McCarthy back gradually, but we need someone with energy in midfield and McCarthy is fit, if not match-fit.

Besic, I imagine, will be about 4-6 weeks - it's a huge blow.

But we have players who can play there. The more pressing need (bar a goalkeeper, obviously) is an attacking player to help Lukaku out (like Kone did earlier in the season) but who has more quality than the 'Golden Prince'.

That way, Barkley can always drop deeper to partner Barry.

I'd seriously contemplate giving Martinez anything else to spend, maybe a loan or two to see us through the season.

He really hasn't made many bad signings in his time with us has he?

Alcaraz and Kone a-side, and even Kone has helped a lot this term - I don't think Rom would be anywhere near his current total if Kone hadn't have being playing.
