Tom Heaton was in the year below my lads at school, and he lodged with my brother when he played for Bristol City a couple of years ago. By all accounts a nice guy, and a good keeper, but top prem quality?

I reckon so.

Can't really say he's better or worse than Joel though. Nobody can!

Joel is the better keeper. I've sene both (I used to work for Burnley so attended matches). Good keeper is Tom Heaton but nothing special, a good keeper who someone by now would have taken a chance on.

I don't think people are understanding. It's impossible to know how good/poor Joel is as he's never given a decent run.

I agree he's not had a decent run, fair enough. But I still think we've seen enough to have an opinion on him.
