We were when he was at Granada, yeh. Had a stormer at the WC in Brazil then went to Porto. Started well but then poor towards the back end of the season.

No idea what he's been like this term.

Slimani and Deulofeu would have a proper field day out together. He's an absolute tank in the air from what I've seen, soon as he's supplied it's in the net. If Yarms is off to Arsenal then I would happily shell out £22m for Slimani.

£22mil on a striker when we play with one up top though... Doesn't make much sense to me mate... Slimani would be wasted on the wing. Always at his best running in behind the defence/getting on the end of crosses, a lot like Rom, really.

Then what about playing Rom on the wing? Last time he played there he played pretty well iirc, think it was in the Arsenal game where we won 3-0.

Would mean moving Deulofeu across do Rom could cut in on his left. We need to stop shoehorning players and just buy a left winger.

You recall wrong. He had one good game vs Arsenal as a not even proper winger. Then every other time it was tried it was crap. And he hated it.
