Needs a rest but no one good enough to let him get one. Played every minute of 8 games in the last 32 days (every one on the schedule except D&R).

Surely getting someone in that can give Lukaku a breather is a good idea?

Naively or not, I do think so. Fans aren't far from being lost, and if that happens then he's in trouble.

Think we need a permanent decent backup to Rom myself, both to spell him and in case of injury - most teams have several and even with a generous interpretation we only have Rom, Arouna, Kev and Leandro. And unfortunately it is one of the most expensive positions on the pitch.

I would love the Horn, but keepers don't move in the Jan window, especially no1 keepers.

my lads mates with the fella who did the write up in the echo for Mori (there south american expert) lives in kirkdale like, but does watch loads of the stuff over there, stays up all bloody night, and he says he looks half decent but the league isn't all that but might be worth a gamble at the figures quoted.
