In a heart beat - feel a bit sly for him to be honest, it was always going this way though - they have bene preparing for Pep for years.
Don't feel sorry for him mate. why do you think they extended his contract? SWo they could pay him off as a thank you for his services. Otherwise he would have been out of contract and therefore not entitled to a penny.

It is yet another example of City actually going about things the right way

Yeah i suppose when you look at it that way. Just think he has done a good job there to be honest after the craziness that was Mancini, seems to have settled most of the squad down.

Id happily have him here - even more so if he is getting a fat pay off! hahahaha

It was always the plan to get pep though tbh. Even the official statement said that they were talking back in 2012 so it was a case of when not if he went there.

Pellegrini was the best option in the mean time and pep probably said he would join this summer so that is when they offered the new contract to pellegrini on the basis of a thank you to him. He probably knew since he joined he would be replaced by only one man.
