2nd - perhaps we should tell Napoli we will give them two (2!) Strikers AND 25M for Gabbiadini. Just keep the fact that the two strikers are Niasse and Kone quiet like......

Seriously, get Sissoko, Kone and perhaps a Begovic in to cover Maarten and it will not have been a bad day.

(though how we did not add a quality backup to Rom escapes me - and yes i am aware of the Valencia rumors but currently have them on "ignore")

We won't sign Begovic in the next few hours, but if we did, he wouldn't be cover for Stek. It'd be the other way around, mate.

Completely disagree with that mindset. We wouldn't be relying on him at all we have quite a few other CMs especially if McCarthy stays. Young players need to play, they have a far greater capacity to improve than older players (just look at holgate this season and Marcus rashford; these players need to be given a chance) Not saying I don't want sissoko, just saying I hope it doesn't hinder the development of Tom Davies because I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that Tom Davies will go on to be a far better player than sissoko IF he gets the right opportunities.
