He’s a young, pacy, direct right winger. He’s got all the attributes to be a top player in a couple years. Profile we should be looking at.

Sarr is worth a punt. He is very raw but has something about him.
Of all the relegated players, David Brooks is the best one to target.

What I meant was that he didn’t demand a transfer just so he could join Everton. He wanted to get away and certainly if Everton had come close to Palace’s asking price he may have joined them. Equally with another club if they had. Wasn’t intending to call you untruthful. No offence meant.

Personally I’d say it was to force through a move to us. He made that request on the eve of the window closing, and we were the only ones bidding. Arsenal had already dropped out weeks prior after dropping 70 million on Pepe for the winger role. Unless there were other options that never made it public which I doubt in this day and age, I’d say it was almost certainly us he was trying to force a move to.
