Difference between struggling financially and needing to avert FFP.

I've said for a while we have many club accountants on here and twitter yet no one saw the £30 million naming rights deal coming at the AGM.

If the club want a player im not particulary fussed how they go about getting them.

When you consider what Ake has just gone for - I know its Man City but we could definitely get atleast £25 million for Keane if a team is in need of a CB.

We don't need stones back - we've already got a load of dodgy defenders in the squad, why add another? Gerrado Branthwaitini to start next season at CB.

Pep knows a player - if he's picking some young kid and a knackered ald defensive midfielder ahead of johnny boy, and is now buying another CB (albeit not a great one), it's because stones is a gash defender.

He will likely keep stones for the home grown quota anyway won't he?

Yes mate, I don’t believe that Everton would be singled out and given a punishment 10 times worse than anyone else.

Moshiri can get around it with his eyes closed anyway. Half of the Championship are using all kinds of methods to get around it, and most are now getting away with it.

It is his aim, but it takes time, i think he said it'd be a few years before it starts bearing fruit.

Absolutely, no point judging a dof until at least 4/5 years down the line.

The point is, if he's not allowed total control over all the age groups in the academy it's unfair to judge him.

Only just seen it. I’m pleased were being more ruthless with the U23’s. It seems to signal a new approach by the club, as we are selling a few of them. Maybe they want the U23’s to operate more as a business unit and turn a profit.

Anyway, I wish him well, but it’s time for him to move on.
