Everton Transfer Thread - Summer 2020

Seems to me we are as similar in our transfer dealings as compared to our league positions.
We are always mentioned as being in or around the top players/places but never manage to secure them and end up just making up the numbers as other teams out perform us!
I'm secretly hoping with the transfers it's all just a smokescreen and that we are actually looking at players nobody else is after. Good players too!
Otherwise we will have to settle for being a club that was "interested" in player X, Y or Z and watched on as they went elsewhere - again.

Never heard of any of them, but try and get them all in. I agree with ForeverBlue92, we need at least 5 new faces in the team.
 

Nothing new there to be honest. We all know we’re screwed. Who the f wants to buy any of our deadwood, with actual cash.

Loan exits are the best we can hope for to free up wages for the season.

We’re about to waste one of the very rare chances we’ll ever have by not giving a world class manager the same backing Koeman and Silva received.

If Moshiri can no longer supply the funds, it’s time for him to go.

Can’t really see anyone looking at Everton who really aren’t for sale and saying “aye sound I’ll pay for this club and their new stadium they’ve got in the works, nice one” myself

Worrying me is didn't our players take pay cuts to help the club out as well ? Thought when Brands came here it would help sort out the constant dithering in and about our transfer deals, if anything it's getting worse.
 
So we have to sell snow to Eskimos before we can buy, Everton that.

Brands needs to speak to that lot across the park and ask them how they do it, the one thing they do that you have to take your hat off for.
