Not sure of the stats, but when I’ve seen Napoli over the last few years, mertens has played through the middle. He was a winger in his younger days.

Abs I agree about Richarlison, but Ancelotti has moved him to the left late in games. An he could play along side mertens upfront.

Depending on sales we might not need another forward, but playing 442 it’s a risk just having 3. When they are also all under 23.

The best player by a country mile was that Penanranda. Remember looking up afterwards that he played for Watford but doesn't look like he's had a work permit or even been successful out on loan either.

It's a little bit more than maybe we should be looking at (it works out at just over £36m) but even at 29 years old he would be far, far ahead of anything we have at the moment, he is also known for his fitness so i have no worries with regards to that tbh. But yeah i would rather it was more around the £20m mark tbh.
