I imagine any other targets who had any doubts about how serious we are will see now, we mean business.

The best thing about the last week, makes it easier to get the next big name in. Sadly with the money we have it is 4 years too late but better late than never.

Seriously, you have to look at where we were at the end of the "season" vs where we are now and say we've had a VERY good window (assuming Doucoure). Could do with a RB and a winger, maybe even a massive long shot with someone like Jovic on loan.

He was brilliant at finding bargains with no cash. Superb in the transfer market really given the resources he had, his only blind spot was strikers.

Keep seeing people saying we are light up top and need another striker. I dont get it.

Both Richarlison and DCL got 13 goals each for a team that finished 12th.

This was supported by a midfield who got like 10 assists between them.

Our defence got 11 assists (digne 7, Holgate 3, mina 1)

Stick a decent midfield behind them and the chances are that they will get more goals. As well as having more goals scored from midfield. Chelsea only had Abraham who scored more than them but their midfield chipped in with a lot more than ours did and they came 4th. Hopefully thats about to change. The midfield is key.

We dont have Europe so we only need 3 strikers. Kean got a couple of goals and assists as well and if he comes in with a decent midfield behind him, he could get a much better return.

Simple really an upgrade on DCL that 13 goals hopefully becomes 20 and 1

Because an upgrade on DCL hopefully that 13 becomes 20 and 12th becomes European football he should have had 20 last season with some of the chances he had don't buy this he never gets chances.

This point can't be emphasised enough. With Ancelotti, Hamez and to a lesser degree Allan at the club it sends out a clear signal.

The Witsels, Matas, Koulibalys, and Pepes of this world will be made that much easier to get across the line.

Let's just hope our pot of gold is as deep as we hope it is.
