I’m just talking as a player .. financially he would have to take a 450k a week pay cut which I think we can all agree is not very likely

Even then I'm not sure, mate. As a lot have said on here, he certainly gives the impression he's not too bothered about playing footy, and we've seen enough of that type of player in our colours in recent years!

He's the guy I'd like to see us go for.
Obviously there's risk with him but isn't there with everybody?
I've just got a good feeling about him, he reminds me a lot of Mahrez.
I'd also be tempted to have him on the left in our front three with Rodriguez right and Richarlison in the middle.
Be interesting to see how that works out.

Not knocking the idea of Benrahma but he's 25, as opposed to Zaha who's 27. They're hardly at different ends of their career. Think there's a tendency to sometimes think everyone who we're not familiar with must be a kid breaking through.

Christensen totally wrong profile though, ultimately.

We need a CB with pace. Ideally left-footed or left-sided (Tomori is right footed but plays on the left side of defence).

Christensen doesn't have that recovery pace.
