Carlo’s mentality is not 12th place Everton. If we want to stay 12th place then Stones is a good signing, if we want to kick on is he that much better than what we’ve got?
Personally I actually think he is, and I’d have him for the right price and I think he helps us push to Europe but this ‘12th place everton’ thing is rubbish. We’ve already solved our biggest problem with our 3 big signings and Carlo is pushing us to challenge the top 6.

Being an England international isn’t a sign of quality, their number one is Jordan Pickford.

Loved Stones when he was here but that day is long gone. We should be looking elsewhere.

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but just been listening to the All Together podcast and Alan Myers was asked about what he thought we would get as far as further incomings are concerned

He said:

A left back on loan
A centre back on loan
A right back from "not too far away from here", which I took to mean Dalot
And a winger who would be a "cherry on the cake" and a present from the owner

Usually a bit more evasive than that

Iwobi, Walcott, Seamus, JJK are fine for squad cover but I’m guessing a lot of transfers out, especially for the type of player listed above will be done towards the end of the window
