Hes an upgrade on Theo Walcott. I'm not sure anyone said he'd be playing in place of DCL.
Not necessarily saying to play in place of DCL. But saying we need a better standard than DCL and then suggesting king.
He’d be a risk alright. On top form he’s amazing but who knows what they’d be getting.Reckon bale will flop if he comes back to the prem
I think the thinking behind King is we need another option across the frontline and I’m sure he’d be perfectly content with being a squad option rather than an every out starter.King isn't for me really but £10m and his low wages wouldn't be the end of the world.
I'd much prefer we be more ambitious - we have CARLO ANCELOTTI and JAMES RODRIGUEZ. Why would King be the answer?
He wants to play central though. And he wouldn't work on the right side (where Walcott plays).Predominantly plays off the left but is versatile. Hes a decent player.
I doubt it. He’s still a class act.Reckon bale will flop if he comes back to the prem
I could see a bunch of them still being here at the end of the window but we might get some extra for them in January if a few teams at the bottom start to smell of desperation.....Ideally all of them should go, except Kean and either Bernard or Iwobi. Bring in Tomori and a winger like Bailey, Under or Lozano (all linked with us) and I would be so happy with our summer business.
Pickford/Lossl - Coleman/Kenny, Keane/Mina, Tomori/Holgate, Digne/Nkonkou - Allan/Gbamin, Doucouré/Davies, Gomes/Iwobi - James/Bailey, DCL/Kean, Richarlison/Gordon
Teams will get desperate as the window starts to close and their results are badWe can ask the Times to print what they like, there's zero chance we shift more than two of those.
