Not necessarily saying to play in place of DCL. But saying we need a better standard of player than DCL and then suggesting king.

He’d be a risk alright. On top form he’s amazing but who knows what they’d be getting.

Though plenty of football fans are saying the same about James. I suppose.

I'd much prefer we be more ambitious - we have CARLO ANCELOTTI and JAMES RODRIGUEZ. Why would King be the answer?

I think the thinking behind King is we need another option across the frontline and I’m sure he’d be perfectly content with being a squad option rather than an every out starter.

Even if we got rid of just Sigurdsson and Walcott we wouldn't be looking at getting in King, Zaha (these two definitely not anyway!) and Tomori never mind if the rest of the dead weight got shifted.

Ideally all of them should go, except Kean and either Bernard or Iwobi. Bring in Tomori and a winger like Bailey, Under or Lozano (all linked with us) and I would be so happy with our summer business.

I could see a bunch of them still being here at the end of the window but we might get some extra for them in January if a few teams at the bottom start to smell of desperation.....
