I think this will be it for incomings now until (hopefully) a flurry in both directions on TDD.

If I were a gambling man, I'd say:

Incoming:

RB - loan (similar to Sidibe in terms of deal structure)
RW - loan or young, cheap prospect á la Nkounkou
CB - loan

Outgoing:

Bolasie - Champo loan
Tosun - Palace or Turkey
Sandro - Middling La Liga team, probably loan
Besic - Champo loan to see out his contract or minimal fee for perm
Gibson - Champo (or maybe even Fulham) loan, depending on JB's condition

I would LIKE to see more out, but I just can't see there being takers for Davies in any capacity and, while I think Walcott might get some suitors, I think Carlo likes him, or at least hates him less than I do.

Hopefully there are offers on the table for this motley crew and the club are waiting to see if any better come in.
Or other clubs are interested and are waiting towards the end of the window in the hope of getting a better deal, knowing we want to get rid

Top 6-8, if we have a bit of luck for a change on the injury front, not been a good start with this though
We need a centre half urgent and a right back. Really do think with the midfield we have now, it could be Anthony Gordon's breakout year.

That Minamamomo is utterly horrific, remember when everybody fumed cos they only paid 9m for him.

I really hope we get another winger/wide forward for the right, Walcott just doesn't have the hunger anymore and his final ball is always the wrong one anyway. Got to take advantage of having James and the new midfield, capitalise on a good window.

One less talent for Wolves. Would rather Jota leave the league than go to them, but they are a safe bet to make top 4 regardless.

Thought that myself. They have significantly weakened one of our direct rivals for Europe. We just need Juve to abandon plans to sign Suarez and turn their attentions to Jimenez.

There would be plenty of teams interested in Davies, but not at the price we would be asking.
I also don’t think Carlo would sell him. Carlo will play a system using Allan and Doucoure and if one was injured, Davies is the only midfielder who can play that role.

8th-9th for me.

Business started off well then the usual suspects we will be competing with have started opening up the chequebooks and suddenly our business doesn't give us such a large advantage.


We need another 2-3 for me to expect top 6/7.
