How many of these would we miss / need to replace?

9 of them wouldn’t see the pitch unless an absolute emergency occurred and can go.

Sigurdsson will play significant minutes this season and would be missed.

Walcott, Bernard, Kenny, and Delph aren’t great but add depth which we need for cups and injuries. Three of them played 90 minutes just last week. We don’t have a backup right back so Kenny would absolutely have to be replaced or upgraded. We could probably get rid of Delph given our CM options and one of Bernard/Walcott. I’d ideally shift both given high wages but bring in one quality attacking right winger to replace those 2 in the squad.

I like richy but he’s nowhere near world class ... his decision making , dribbling , crossing are not anywhere near world class level.
He’s not a winger so you can take crossing out of the equation. And didn’t he complete every take on last week at spurs Abd it was some ridiculous like 12? Could be wrong on the number, but I’m sure he was a 100%. So again you’re wrong on that one.

decision making I will give you, but that will come

The bloke is a machine. He went past Spurs players like they were Sigurdssons and against WBA and Spurs we wouldnt be shocked if he had netted 5 goals...bad luck.

He's the definition of a player i want to see in an Everton shirt. Hard working, oozes quality, always threatening and plays with heart.

The goals will come, once they do id put him up there as one of the best in the league. Has to be aiming for 20 this season.

For all the clamour for Zaha, hes got nothing on Richarlison on the left.

I think we could offload all 14 players and replace with 3 new signings. Right wing, right back and centre midfield. We would also still need a centre back but that would be a very good squad with the right 3 or 4 additions

Agree, basically I think you need to keep most of the 5 you mentioned unless you replace them (as you suggest). If we can replace them then:

Personally I’d keep Sigurdsson
Delph can go (no replacement)
Kenny can go and replace with a starting RB
Bernard and Walcott can go and replace with starting RW

‘World class’ is such a nebulous rating.
He has yet to reach his full potential , yet he is already a regular in the team of the worlds greatest footballing nation helped them win a major tournament.
He is our most essential player and is already on the shopping list of some of the worlds top clubs.
I would rank him as a top class player , personally.

A definite 11.

Walcott - yes, should go now that Iwobo is the backup. In the final 9 months of his contract.
Bolasie - yes
Sandro - yes
Besic - yes
Pennington - yes
Connolly - yes
Bowler - yes
Sigurdsson - stay cos still an option for the team.
Bernard - yes in particular if we sign a right-side winger yes.
Tosun - yes but he is injured so he will probably leave in January.
Delph - yes
Kenny - on the fence unless we can move him on and sign a rb which at this stage is unlikely.
Lossl - stay because we need three senior keepers.
Bamingime - yes
