Of the 31 players referred to, they include...

Two inconsequential nobodies that aren’t worth talking about:
Pennington,
Banningime.

Two useless crocks going nowhere:
Gbamin,
Tosun.

Four fringe players with just one year left:

Besic
Sandro
Bolasie
Walcott

Only Walcott stands any chance of being an active squad member, the others won’t get a sniff.

Besic, Sandro and Bolasie will have the choice between sitting on their arse and collecting their remaining wages but playing no first team football for a year, or moving on. I believe they will choose to move on and we will get rid of them.

So if you remove those three, along with the two nobodies, it’s more like a squad of 26, which includes two useless crocks. So 24 players worth talking about.

Brands does need to get rid of 2, 3 or 4 more players if he can, to bring the squad down to a respectable 20, which we can then potentially add 1, 2 or 3 further new players to.

The players that we will want to shift are likely to be:

Walcott
Delph
Sigurdsson
Davies

Brands will have his work cut out trying to sell them, but it would be great if he did and also brought in the extra quality that we need.

Gbamin is due to be fit in around a month.

Needs :
Another CB
GK to at least be a viable push to Pickford
RB to help bring best out of Hamez ( one of Kenny / Coleman to go )
Another striker option ?

For various reasons ..think Iwobi / Bernard / Siggy / Delph to stay

To be sold / loaned / released : Davies / Bolasie / Walcott / Besic / Tosun / Sandro

Heard similar stuff before. He then kicks a ball and is out for another 9 months. I doubt he will be getting much game time anyway, even if he can kick a ball without needing an ambulance.

I mean he did his Achilles it's not like he felt a tweak in the same injury he suffered (which was only not sorted in the first place because our medical staff risked no surgery).
