I really think we need to get in a keeper who will not just put pressure on Pickford but be able to replace him competently should he not be up to scratch (which he currently isn't)
Now Lossl doesn't seem to be the one to to it according to many on here, which makes me wonder why we even have him on the books?
With Stekelenberg you knew he would come in and do a decent job should he need to, but if Lossl can't - why is he here?
I'd rather put Virginia as back up and a youth keeper as 3rd choice and save on wages by getting Lossl sold.
The chances of 1st choice getting injured are remote and Virginia would just have to fill in at the appropriate time. A risk worth taking for that particular scenario.
However, I do prefer to have 2 top choices for the GK spot and so think a proven GK along the lines of Romero, Trapp, Sirigu, Horn, Baumann or Sommer would be ideal with Virginia as our 3rd choice.

It must mean we have a striker lined up as there is no way at all any club looking to compete would willingly enter the post-transfer window stage of the season with two strikers in the entire squad. Could be an exciting day tomorrow.
