Does some good things but a bit inconsistent. I think he was replaced by Joe Hart because he is too quiet/passive. Probably more of a Championship player.

They don't. They just think that they can't be any worse than Pickford so that'll do.

Personally I'd just go with Pickford and if he continues making regular errors then drop him for Lossl. Might actually do him good.

Pickford is not the terrible keeper everyone is making out. He is just making too many silly errors that are leading to goals. That can be rectified. He is still a very good shot stopper and as good as anybody in the league in one on one situations. People are just seeing the mistakes and the points lost, and not the saves and the points saved. He made 2 fantastic saves against Spurs in the first match before we scored. Everybody forgets that.

Having said that his performance at the weekend was probably his worse yet and there's no doubt the mistakes are making him more edgy.

If I was Carlo I'd be getting a Sports Psychologist in to work with him.

Sure, but paying players that we literally are not allowed to play really grates (not that we'd want to play them but still). If we can get to a position where we could actually play all of our players if needed that would be a start.

Most of Pickford's problems come from his tiny little brain rather than his tiny little arms.

Keeper will be Robin Olsen on loan if it can get done in time. Sweden's starting GK and a small upgrade on Lossl rather than a high quality number one. He's big more than he is good.

No way Pickford is getting dropped. Until one of his mistakes costs us points he won't be dropped.

That’s a silly approach. Playing with fire until we inevitably get burned. It’s so obvious he’s the weak link. Get it sorted and we’re in excellent shape to challenge the top 4/6 this year.

Of course he's the weak link I'm not disputing that. But he's been part of a side that is top of the league with 4 wins and 3 in the Cup so there's no way (imo) that he will get dropped until the time comes he costs us 3 points or a point because of one of his many brianfarts.

I'm sure next summer we'll be looking for a top end keeper.
