Tim Howard on SSN just then, he left a bit late but he was brilliant for us. He backed Pickford to bounce back and said competition helps.

As an American who played a mix between keeper and forward/winger growing up he was my biggest reason for becoming a Everton fan. I love this team through all of us ups and downs. Hopefully with Carlo we are about to have some serious ups

United turned down both a loan and a small fee (<£5m) from us and gave us no encouragement to improve it. They did the same to Leeds a few weeks back. They do not want him elsewhere in the PL it seems.

I’m usually all for players honoring their contracts but keeping a quality keeper hostage only to be 3rd choice is cruel.

They are treating him very poorly with everything he has done for them. Arsenal did Martinez well by dealing him.
