Ancelotti said he needed to get the squad size down, he’s pretty much nearly done that, unless Tosun leaves we won’t sign a replacement.

I'm surprised that we haven't got a back-up for DCL particularly with Kean going. That said, I'd rather wait than get a sub-standard player (i.e. a player that is good enough to go straight into the first team) in like King.

So a replacement for DCL rather than a back up option. That would be some transfer fee

no-one top is going to come in and cover the front three mate. Certainly not without CL football.

Maybe next summer.

If we get someone in January, it'll be a Llorente-type signing. That being said, i don't think we need anyone right now. Richy can cover the ST (which is where you prefer him playing isn't it?).

Bernard, Iwobi and Gordon to cover the wide areas.

I think it depends where we are, we could definitely attract a very good player if we are still around the top 4. Also I’m sure there will be some players with 6 months left who we could easily get.

Better to have 4 great players for 3 positions and a good youngster in Gordon. Than 3 average players backing up.

If we are in the mix, an injury or two could scupper everything.
