Cos Origi is a like for like replacement for Salah or Mane, honest.

Its not about like for like - its about having someone proven enough to come off the bench and grab you a goal / rotate to cover injuries.

Tosun was crap enough before busting his knee - this is a bloke who was subbed on and off in a game as he is that slow and bad.

Only us out the clubs currently hoping to finish top 4 have kin Tosun and Iwobi as our answers off the bench to try grab a goal / rotate in a hectic December period.

Its not about signing a world class back up its having someone who is reliable enough to come in and do a job - someone like Tosun isn't that.

....given Kean’s lack of impact, that was probably the case before the window. I imagine it’s high on the list even for January if we’re in and around the top four.

Anything close to £40m sterling and they'll accept IMO. Not too unreasonable in my opinion. Liverpool paid not much less than that for Mane 4 years ago and he turned out ok.

....I think it’s down to availability of a player they really want. It’s pointless bringing somebody in who doesn’t fully fit Ancelotti’s requirement of wanting a ‘counter-attacking’ striker.

Looks raw that lad, but he has the happy knack of finding the back of the net.
Very clinical about it as well.
