Hudson Odoi has done nothing in his career so far. Sancho on the other hand...

Dont get me wrong, Hudson Odoi looks a good prospect but Sancho is doing the business right now even if it is in Bundesliga. He’s put in top performances in the champions league as well.

Premier league isn't currently all that anyway, Sheffield United are in champs league battle...

I'm not saying Hudson Odoi looks good. I'm saying the other chap isn't worth 120m

In today’s market I’d say he is given his age, nationality and the fact he’s one of the top performing players in the world currently.

Not many teenagers tearing it up in a top 5 league with this level of consistency.

Dembele went to Barca for crazy money and he’s never had a season as productive as Sancho.

I'm sure he will go for a silly fee. It won't be us paying it and for that I'm glad.

Look at the wage gaps and European trophies won in the "top 5 leagues". There is a top 2 leagues and then a second tier.

Only a very few clubs in Europe can afford him.

I'd put money on that club being Manchester United.

But in the end he worth what a club is willing to pay for him!

Fair assessment blud.

The original post I was replying to mentioned "uncle uzzy getting his checkbook out and paying £120m".

It is my opinion that he is not worth that amount, especially to for the blues.

Would personally roll the dice at £50m. Which obvly isn't going to happen.

I don't think any player is ever worth that much! But football transfers have gone crazy last few years, even paying £30-40 million for a player is now normal for many clubs, not even just the very rich, and not even for a 'elite' player.

Sancho is pretty special though.

When you look at player like Nicolas Pepe going to Arsenal for £72 million most recently, a good example of how crazy fees are getting for not even top level players.

Most clubs have totally wrote this season off and already actively trying to agree deals.

With the Euros taking place this year we can’t afford to have Marcel Brands playing chess come August 31st.

Get in there now and get the deals done.

Chelsea is going to have some unhappy attackers next season, I'm sure they'll charge excessive prices for them, but there should be some talent available.
