Sorry to reign on everybodys parade and fantasy signings. Football will be changed forever after this pandemic, no crazy transfer fees, and we are lumbered with huge contracts for absolute garbage we have signed in the last 5 years.... Delph, Schneiderlin, Walcott spring to mind.

We need to get junk like this from the wage bill but i can't see any takers and they won't move because why would they? No team is gonna pay them what we do.

Economics and a new stadium to fund, as a previous poster said, i can only see swap deals being the way forward for the foreseeable future.

The third option is that Ancelotti has seen Kean in training + the incident during lockdown + DCL and Richarlison up front and decided we need a different type of player.

I wrote loans + paying % of wages. Pretty much as normal.

Imagine that in 2 years time we will have removed 16 players from the squad.

Some of these players must be sold now or used in swap deals before their values diminish like Keane, Sigurdsson and possibly even Bernard.


Somewhere like Roma for example who have Bernards ex manager there + Smalling has done well for them.

There may be something we could do with them. Who knows.
