Torreira came off a full season, the world cup, into a team in transition with a new manager and was hot/cold in a new league.

He's a FAR FAR FAR better player than Gana.

He's Declan Rice with a fancier name. Looks neat and tidy because he doesn't actually do anything meaningful with the ball and puts a few tackles in. Nothing really to him at all.
