Everton Transfer Thread - Summer 2020

Yeah agree said that earlier in the thread, also some of their reserves/ secondary players sold for ridiculous fee's, Bournemouth take a bow. Solanke was it £20 odd million, what for an actual Donkey who doesn't score, Jordan Ibe, who ? Cheers Bournemouth, here's another £15m for a winger who hardly ever played then and even less now. Liverpool seem to have a supplement on every piece of crap they sell. Even the top players they sell, seem to have been run into the ground and dead on their legs when they sell them, Torres as an example. If I were a manager of another club I would be very wary of buying a player off LFC.
What is also often ignored is that although we made some dreadful purchases in the last few years we did bring in lot of money through transfers and in some cases we had very large gains , Lukaku and Gueye spring to mind but there were others as well.

Keane
Kean
Kenny
Schneiderlin
Siggurdsson
Iwobi

Get them all gone for as much money as possible.
Keane -Yes
Kean - Yes
Kenny - If fee is decent, yes
Schneiderlin - Hell yes
Siggurdsson - yyyy eeee ssss (that's yes in slo-mo)
Iwobi - I'd like to say no to this but only because I sense there is something in him as a player, but I wouldn't blink an eyelid if he went.

So many stinkers!

Linked today with 3 central midfielders, longstaff from Newcastle, Teun Koopmeiners from Alkmaar and and Wendel from Sporting Lisbon. I can't see longstaff leaving newcastle, even if the takeover doesn't go through. Newcastle have been linked with Hirving Lozano if their takeover goes through and we have also been linked again
I think koopmeiners would be a good buy, for probably a very good price. Has played defensive midfielder, box to box, and left hand side in a 3.

And a couple of seasons ago, had a season at CB, AZ captain at 22 and has broken into the Dutch squad.

Longstaff wouidnt get a look in next season, so I could only se us loaning him out

I'd be all over Koopmeiners.

If FFP is valid, how come some teams get more money from TV than others?
surely they should get the same.
I suppose UEFA will say market forces, but isn’t that the same for investments?
Whole system is rigged to suit certain clubs.

I dont know why clubs with very rich owners dont just sack FFP off - worst UEFA can do is a fine and 1-2 seasons out of Europe.

Wouldnt care less if it meant us winning a trophy or league title the sponsership increases and prize money in the league alone would cover the fine and then some.

It's like a weird comfort blanket this thread, no matter what atrocities or pandemics might be occurring across the world you can always pop into this thread and be certain of the special kind of mental that you'll find.

Thank you guys xx
Wubble!

Im also hearing similiar - that tight arse Brands better not ruin our window again with his negotiating "skills" that saw us chasing Iwobi and Rojo on deadline eve.

You want quality you have to pay for it.
I think the club will go marching joyfully down to bankruptcy under your new regime, puppetmaster.

"Pole position' AKA, the team willing to pay the most for a player. "Oh no, none of the other teams are willing to pay what we are, lets pay more!"
